5 stalks of fresh basil

150 g vegan alternative to shredded cheese, e.g., bedda GRANVEGANO

Instructions:

Servings: 2 People
Prep time: 35 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Let's start with the pizza sauce first! Peel and chop the onions and mince the garlic and sauté them in olive oil. Add the tomato paste and sugar and sauté them with the onions and garlic. Use the strained tomatoes for deglazing, add the yeast flakes and the vegan vegetable mix and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Lastly, season to taste with salt and pepper.

Now, preheat your oven at 220° C / 430 °F.

Put the vegan alternative to tuna on a flat work surface and tear it into very fine pieces, using a fork.

Peel the shallots and cut them into rings.

Not it is time for the pizza dough: prepare the pizza dough according to the directions on the package.

Then spread the finished tomato sauce on the pizza base and top evenly with the vegan tuna alternative, onion rings, and vegan alternative to mozzarella.

Bake the pizza for approx. 15 minutes until golden brown.

Pluck the basil leaves from the stem and spread them on the pizza along with the vegan alternative to shredded cheese. Now you can cut and serve it. Enjoy your meal!

TIPS:

  • Need more options? You can also, for example, use the bedda HIRTE instead of the MozzaRisella.
  • If some of the delicious pizza is left over, no problem. It also tastes very good the next day and cold, so it is perfect for your lunch break at work. To heat it up, simply put it in the microwave.
