- 450 g vegan alternative to smoked pork chop
- 500 g sauerkraut
- 1 onion
- 1 ½ tbsp sunflower oil
- vegetable stock
- 1 apple
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 juniper berries
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt
- 8 small waxy potatoes
- sesame
- flour
- Wash potatoes with peel, halve and place on a greased baking sheet, sprinkled with sesame, with the cutting side down. Salt lightly and cook for 25 minutes at 180°C.
- Wash sauerkraut und tear to little pieces. Peel onion and cut into small strips. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion, sauerkraut, juniper berries and bay leaves. Pour in vegetable stock and add diced apple. Cook for 25 minutes and season with salt and sugar.
- Halve vegan alternative to smoked pork chop, turn in the flour and fry on both sides in hot oil (2-3 minutes).
- Serve sauerkraut with potatoes and smoke pork chop alternative.
